Saburi Ismail Seif serves as a Communication Officer at the Ifakara Health Institute, where he brings a creative and strategic lens to science communication. With a strong foundation in visual storytelling, Saburi plays a pivotal role in enhancing the Institute’s public presence through compelling narratives that highlight the impact of research on communities. He supports the creation of multimedia content, manages communication initiatives, and collaborates with scientists to ensure their work is accessible, engaging, and understood by a broad audience.

Previously, Saburi worked as a Marketing and Studio Manager at M2VPRODUCTION, where he oversaw brand development and coordinated visual content production for diverse clients. He also served as the Marketing and Promotion Manager for the Sanaa Blast Festival at the University of Dar es Salaam, contributing to the successful promotion and visibility of one of the university’s largest creative events.

Saburi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Studies from the University of Dar es Salaam. His academic and professional journey has shaped him into a versatile communicator with a passion for using storytelling, branding, and media to connect science with society.

With his background in filmmaking and communications, Saburi brings a distinctive perspective to public health messaging—helping bridge the gap between complex scientific research and the communities it aims to serve.
