The Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) has warned that Lindi and Mtwara regions face threats of a tropical storm Kenneth forecasted to land fall at the coast of the Indian Ocean on Thursday and Friday. IHI had set a booth on the national event grounds in Lindi to showcase its research and services. Dr. Masanja and the entire IHI team have already left Lindi following TMA alerts. #
