WORK-LIFE BALANCE:  Ifakara enhances staff well-being with stress management training

The Ifakara Health Institute's Human Resources team recently hosted a valuable 2-hour training session on stress management and work-life balance. 

This initiative aimed to equip staff, both physically present and attending virtually, with tools and strategies to lead a healthier lifestyle which can lead to reduced stress, improved focus, higher job satisfaction, stronger relationships, and better overall health.

According to the World Health Organization, stress affects both the mind and the body. While a little bit of stress can help us perform daily activities, too much stress can cause physical and mental health problems.
