TRAINING: Ifakara researcher at Nairobi “process evaluation” workshop
Ifakara Health Institute seasoned researcher, Dr. Ester Elisaria, was awarded a certificate of course completion by Devimpact Institute after successfully completing a short program titled, “Training on Process Evaluation,” which took place in Nairobi, Kenya.
The training workshop was organized by Devimpact Institute from August 29 to September 9, 2022. The aim of the workshop was to teach participants Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) fundamentals for project evaluation and process evaluation.
Covered topics included: process evaluation and its model; process evaluation indicators, questions, data collection plan, and matrix; the design of process evaluation data collection instruments; qualitative and quantitative data management and analysis in process evaluation; and process evaluation reporting.

Dr. Ester Elisaria is a Research Scientist in the Health Systems Impact Evaluation and Policy Department at Ifakara Health Institute. She has worked extensively in nutrition, public health and epidemiology program implementation.
