Ifakara hosts DELTAS research grant writing workshop in Dar es Salaam
Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) hosted the DELTAS II research grant writing workshop at the Institute’s Main Conference Room in Dar es Salaam from August 3-7, 2020. The writing workshop brought together institutions involved in the DELTAS II application.
Institutions which participated in the workshop are: National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR), Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center (KCMC), Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), and the host, IHI. Scientists from these institutions met to finalize the full application for DELTAS II call.
Scientists who attended the event are, from NIMR: Dr. Deus Ishengoma, Ms. Celine Mandara and Mr. Christopher Mataka; from KCMC: Prof. Jaffu Chilongola; from NM-AIST: Dr. Elingarimi Sauli Nkya, and from IHI: Dr. Honorati Masanja, Dr. Nico Govella, Dr. Deborah Sumari, and Dr. Brian Tarimo.
The workshop was done using a mixture of several modes. Writing sessions in the morning that contain several presentations. Also, we have teleconference in the afternoon.
