Leah Bazizane Bategereza is a research scientist specializing in Implementation and Health Systems research. Currently serving as a project leader in the Biomedical Research & Clinical Trials Department, Leah leads the Clinical Trial Community Engagement Lab project.

She holds an MSc. in Public Health Research from The Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology and a BSc. in Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences from Sokoine University of Agriculture.

Her skills include project management, supervision, coordination, research methodologies, qualitative data collection, data management and analysis, manuscript writing, and systematic review processes. 

Leah is also experienced in various diagnostic laboratory techniques such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Hematology, and Microbiology.
