Job Description

Position SummaryIfakara Health Institute, through the ACHIEVE Project, is seeking qualified and experienced Laboratory Technicians to be stationed in the Kigoma Region and work at participating health facilities where recruitment and scheduled follow-up visits for study participants will be conducted.The Laboratory Technician will support the planning and supervision of specimen collection from participating health facilities and ensure that all specimens delivered to the laboratory are properly received, labelled, documented, processed, and tested in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The successful candidate will ensure that test results and specimen records are accurately documented and that specimens and their associated records are properly stored and traceable.
