Position SummaryIfakara Health Institute is seeking a qualified Laboratory Scientist to support the NMBiS Project in implementing the Remnant Sample Mapping Study across selected regions in Tanzania Mainland. The role involves conducting laboratory and health facility assessments, evaluating biological sample storage conditions, documenting sample inventories, assessing specimen quality and metadata, supporting data collection, and contributing to study reports and quality assurance activities. Candidates should have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Public Health Laboratory Sciences, or a related field. Qualifications and Experience

in laboratory research, specimen management, biobanking, or public health biomedical research is required.
