Position Summary Ifakara Health Institute seeks a Research officer or Research scientist  to join the team as an intern and mentee to the Malaria Atlas Project (MAP) Dar es Salaam Node, The position will be for a minimum of three (3) months with the possibility to be extended based on performance and project demand.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as statistics, mathematics, data science, or similar quantitative disciplines. Proficiency in tools like R, Python, QGIS for data analysis, dashboard development, and machine learning, with a desire to expand
