To measure bed net ownership and usage rates for households in Rufiji district, Tanzania, and assess how household- and individual-level demographic and socio-economic characteristics correlate with bed net ownership and usage.
To understand household experiences with bed nets through a short questionnaire targeted to mothers of young children, and to generate hypotheses about which attitudes and perceptions contribute most to the gap between ownership and proper usage of bed nets in Rufiji district.
