		IRB Services
		The IHI IRB upholds the highest ethical and regulatory standards of research involving human subjects at Ifakara Health Institute. The following services are provided by IHI-IRB: Supports researchers through the ethics review process, from the preparation of a protocol submission to continuing review/oversight of ongoing research Facilitates the review process conducted by our Institutional Review Board (IRB) Develops and enforces policies and procedures at Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) in compliance with national and international guidelines Educates researchers in the why’s and how’s of research ethics and ethics review Runs awareness programs on ethics in research involving human subjects for the community
